Authorties investigate a string of fake bills popping up in the four-states. The Neosho Police Department has received complaints from seven local businesses about counterfeit money. More than 15 bills have been confiscated from fast food restaurants, convient stores and a smoke shop in the last two weeks. The bills have ranged from 5 to 20-dollar bills. Officers say they need your help to put the counterfeiting to a stop. Authorities says to be on the look out for bills with poor printing quality and bright green backs.
