Vatterott College Starts Christmas Early

JOPLIN, Mo.--One area college gets Christmas started early...

Vatterott College held its holiday open house today.

People interested in the school had a chance to meet some of the instructors as well as Santa Claus.

Kids that came with their parents got the chance to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Director of Education Gayola Dodson says, "We were in hopes this event would be for the community to welcome them in and give them a little something else to look at and to look forward to and give the children a little bit of an early Christmas."

Each kid that came to the event was also given a present from Vatterott College.
