Delaware County law enforcement officials are searching for a suspect in the alleged armed robbery of a market and the kidnapping of an employee. Sheriff Rick White says the Assistant Manager of farmer`s market was forced to drive the suspect west of Miami after the store was robbed Saturday night. Assistant Manager Lee Mitchell was released unharmed. Police believe 6-thousand dollars to 7-thousand dollars was taken from the store. Mitchell had closed the market and was leaving the parking lot at about 9 when the robber approached him. Police say the robber probably had a snub-nosed pistol. Mitchell says he didn`t know the robber, but the robber called Mitchell by name. The man was described as being in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-9, blond hair with a mustache, wearing a green t-shirt, baggy jeans, and a blue ball cap. Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact the Delaware County Sheriff`s office at 918-253-4531. Reported By: Priscilla Mace
