A bus driver accused of ordering children off of a bus on a county road will appear in court today. 44-year-old Marian Shoemaker of Pineville was scheduled to be arraigned yesterday, but her attorney was not able to attend the hearing. Her arraignment was re-schedule for one o`clock this afternoon. Shoemaker will enter a plea for 23 misdemeanor charges including 20 counts of 2nd degree child endangerment, 2 counts of false imprisonment, and 1 count of careless and imprudent driving. She was fired after several parents accused her of slamming on her brakes, sending children out of their seats on the bus. Some children were also allegedly forced off the bus onto a county road.
