Community Betterment Program Unveiling

State funding is helping one area town improve the services of several local organizations. Members of the Lamar Community Betterment Program unveiled plans for a new community building. The Old Restaurant building will eventually house many of the community action agencies for the community. Renovation costs total just over $500,000. Funding for the project is almost complete. The project should be completed by May of next year.
