Nevada Job Fair

More than 204 state workers are facing unemployment. Between the Honeywell Manufacturing Plant and Firstar Bank in Nevada, over 200 employees will be laid off by the end of the year. The city of Nevada is planning a job fair to help employees find work once they are laid off. The chamber says ideally the new jobs would be in Nevada, which would in turn help the local economy. The Nevada Job Fair is being held Saturday October 20th from 10:00am until 4:00pm in the Nevada High School cafeteria.
