breaking news
Some local residents find an unwanted substance in their drinking water.
Managers at the Bed and Bath Motel in Neosho complained that a smelly liquid had seeped into their well. After investigating, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources determined that gasoline from a nearby gas station had most likely leaked into to businesses well. The station is expected to fix the problem within the next week. And while representatives from the DNR say this will solve the problem, hotel managers say it`s already caused them a huge inconvience. If you`re having a similar problem with your well, you`re encouraged to contact the DNR office in Springfield at (417) 891-4300.
