Sonic Robbery

Two suspects are in custody wanted for the late night robbery of a Joplin fast food restaurant. 17 year old Nathan Malone and 19 year old Brandon Walker both of Joplin are in custody and facing second degree robbery charges. Joplin police say the Sonic drive in at 23rd and Main was robbed just before midnight. Police say two suspects on foot had placed an order from one of the car stalls, when the car hop delivered the order, one of the men grabbed her from behind and held her while he untied her money apron. The other suspect then grabbed the apron and both male suspects then ran down the alley. There were no injuries in the robbery. Written By: Jim Jackson
