A historic building`s employees are now seeing things in a whole new light. The Jasper County Courthouse held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday morning in honor of their new chandeliers. More than one hundred supporters and volunteers gathered for the ceremony. The nine new fixtures are similar to the ones the courthouse used when it first opened and are installed on the first floor of building. The ribbon cutting helped to recognized efforts to take the historic building back to its roots. The project was funded entirely by grant money and donations. Written By: Kelli Baldwin
