Yet another Southwest Missouri native pays the ultimate price in the war on terrorism. 21 year old Marine Corporal Dallas Kerns was killed while fighting Iraqi insurgents last week in the anbar province. The Mountain Grove Missouri native was laid to rest in Battlefield National Cemetary in Springfield. Kerns was a rifleman with "K" company, 3rd battalion, 7th regiment of a Marine expedition force based in California. He graduated from mountian grove high school just three years ago. Teachers at Mountian Grove High School remember Kerns as smart, fun and a delightful student. Written By: Stuart Price
