Couple Charged with Death of Baby

A Northeast Oklahoma couple will have separate trials in connection with the death of a one-year-old child. 22-year old Jason Robbins faces a charge of first-degree murder for the death of Destiny Willoughby in October of 2000. Medical experts say the victim died of head wounds and showed signs of shaken baby syndrome. 25-year old Crystal Martin, the victim`s mother, is charged with permitting child abuse. A trial date for both suspects could be set on October 22nd. At that time a judge could decide if the couple will receive separate trials.
