McCune Brooks Expansion

A four state hospital crosses the last hurdle to expand their facility. McCune Brooks hospital in carthage received final approval from the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee. They approved the certificate of need application in which hospital officials had to explain why they needed to expand. The new plan will increase the capacity of McCune Brooks from 54 beds to 62 beds. There are also plans to build a replacement facility on land acquired from precious moments. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2005. Written By: Brad Douglas
