New Dental Program

This fall, students at Labette Community College will be able to enroll in a new dental assistant program.
Administrators say there is a growing demand for the specialty in our area.
Classes will be taught at the school's Cherokee campus, and students will work with actual patients at the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas.
Community Health Center C.E.O. Krista Postai says it could even land the students a job once they're out of school.
Some of the students will be hired by the Community Health Center because of the relationships they have developed during their time training there.
