KANSAS - A Southeast Kansas man will spend the next seven years in prison on meth charges. 36-year-old Clancy Dewayne Pierce of Independence, Kansas, pled guilty to a charge of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine. As part of the plea, the state will recommend a sentence of 84 months in prison. Formal sentencing is scheduled for June 19th. Three other individuals have been charged in connection with the crime.
