Christopher Collings Sentenced To Death 5/11/12

Convicted killer Christopher Collings will be put to death for the 2007 rape and murder of 9-year-old Rowan Ford of Stella, Missouri.
The judge has ruled that Collings be sentenced to death, as recommended by the jury.
The defense has notified the court that they plan to appeal.
The judge immediately signed a warrant of execution presented by prosecutors.
The defense had asked for a mistrial, claiming the prosecution had used improper arguments to sway the jury.
The judge overruled that motion.
