Mo Budget in the Hands of Gov

JEFFERSON CITY, MO-- Missouri's $24 billion dollar is now in the hands of the governor. Senate and house lawmakers were able to resolve the final disagreement over higher education funding by splitting money originally designated for one school with six others. If that stands, Missouri Southern stands to gain another $346,000 for 2013. Overall, the budget allots $1.2 billion for higher ed... and $5.4 billion for elementary and secondary education.
