JOPLIN - Missouri seniors are working to prevent health care fraud. The Senior Medicare Patrol is looking for retired professionals to identify fraud and abuse, such as overbilling, overcharging or providing unnecessary or inappropriate services. They will hold a 2-day training session on Wednesday and Thursday, May 23rd and 24th.
It will be held from 9 a-m to 4 p-m at the Area Agency on Aging office at 531 East 15th Street in Joplin.
Pre-registration is required by May 16th.
