For the second time in a week, a Northeast Oklahoma man is arrested and taken into custody. Ottawa County investigators says 43-year old Kenneth Tate of Fairland was arrested on Tuesday and then again yesterday. Mike Eason, of the sheriff`s department, says Tate`s first arrest was for domestic violence. The next day, Eason says Tate was arrested for violating probation. Tate was arrested in 1996 for attempted murder and numerous other charges, stemming from a gun fight with officers in Fairland. 19-year-old Slint Tate, Kenneth Tate`s son is currently serving a life sentence for the 1999 murder of Delaware County Reserve Officer Vernan Roberts.
