NEOSHO, MO.---Visitors to the Neosho Fish Hatchery will soon have new artwork to appreciate.  The Newton County Tourism Council has hired local artist Jeff Jones to create a mural, illustrating the hatchery's history and future. The art work will be located in the building's gift shop and photo prints of the painting will be available for purchase. Workers at the hatchery say they believe the mural will give residents another reason to visit their facility.  "We're excited about it.  Another way to highlight the hatchery and also highlight what is the community's and that is the Neosho National Fish Hatchery," says Dave Hendrix Fish Hatchery Manager.  Hatchery workers say the artist is working on the 6x8 ft. mural and will soon be finished.
