Cherokee county sheriff David groves says his office has been using Facebook to catch their most wanted for about a year now.
Groves says numerous tips come in, usually through private messages.
Groves says most citizens want to help take criminals off the streets, but they don't know how.
Groves says his office has also recently started using Twitter to get information to the public.
He says they're always expanding the information they offer to the public on-line.
