JOPLIN, MO.---Joplin city officials highlighted efforts by Samaritan's Purse to build homes for storm victims. The goal is to dedicate 20 houses within two years. Three projects are already done with another three on the way. Volunteers have come from around the country and within the Joplin community. "Spend a day out in the community helping to build a house for someone, maybe a neighbor, maybe a friend. It's such a small town it seems like we know somebody who knows somebody we're building for so that's another opportunity that's available," says Stephen Bergen of Samaritan's Purse. Samaritan's Purse is still looking for volunteers and families in need of a home.
