National Depression Screening Day

Depression is an illness that can affect anyone, but its more common among older Americans. Today was designated as National Depression Screening Day. The Generations Unit at McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage hosted a free depression screening for area seniors. It gave seniors the opportunity to test themselves for the illness. More than two million Americans age 65 and older suffer from some form of depression.
