JOPLIN, MO.--- Undroppable is a social media campaign used to combat the high school dropout epidemic. The site shares stories of students graduating from some of the hardest hit communities in the U.S. Joplin High School is one of six schools chosen for the documentary. It will feature students and staff with Joplin's Flex Program, which helps struggling students graduate from high school.

Joplin Schools Superintendent CJ Huff says the recognition is a direct result of Bright Futures. Through this program, Joplin schools has seen a 51% decrease in dropouts in the past two years.

"One of the compelling stories and one of the compelling things about our situation is the simple fact that there is such a high level of engagement and a structure of community support that is ongoing," states Huff.

The director of Undroppable began filming the schools featured in the film in April. The film is expected to be released in 2013.
