JOPLIN, MO.--- Art Feeds President Meg Bourne is 1 of 5 finalists for VH1's "Do Something" awards. The contest highlights the "Top World Changers Under 25" years of age. Bourne competed against 1,000 applicants for the honor. As one of the finalists Art Feeds won $10,000. The money will be used to fund art projects at one Joplin elementary next school year. VH1 crews will be in town Thursday to film Art Feeds working with Joplin kids.

"I think that part of the reason we've made it this far is that we're so completely invested in our kids in Joplin," says Bourne.

The winner will be announced at the "Do Something Award Show" August 21st. Click here to go to the VH1 "Do Something" website.
