JOPLIN, MO.--- A Joplin man pleads guilty to his role in a stabbing. Kyle Bruin, 24, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree robbery. He was originally charged with armed criminal action and 1st degree assault. Because of the plea, he will only face 7 years behind bars. Police say Bruin and 2 accomplices robbed and stabbed a 54 year old man at the plaza motel on 7th street in Joplin last September. The victim suffered several stab wounds to the face and neck. Wayne Tidd is set to go to trial later this year for his role in the case, while Amanda Selby has already pleaded guilty to 2nd degree robbery.
