Freeman's Mail Precautions

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Four State companies are taking steps against bio-terrorism. In order to ensure the safety of their employees, Freeman Health System is taking precautions when handling the mail. On a daily basis, the hospital receives around 5,000 pieces of mail. Experts say it is rare, but if you do come in contact with anthrax or a powder through the mail, make sure you do not touch the envelope. You should evacuate the area and call 911, and immediately wash your hands with soap and water.
