Update: Armed Pizza Robbery Suspects in Court Today

JOPLIN, MO--- Keith Walton and Shawn Simmons, who are charged with First Degree Armed Robbery, entered pleas of not guilty. Both are in custody a long with a third person, Caleb Baker, for robbing a Domino's pizza delivery person at gunpoint last Saturday.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspects flee to a home on 18th and Wall on foot around 11:30 Saturday night. A police K-9 unit and a SWAT team were able to get all three suspects out of the house by 2 a.m. Officers say the suspects made off with pizzas and a small amount of cash. A search warrant was issued and police found the handgun that was used in the robbery.

 No injuries were reported in the incident.

Walton and Simmons next court date will be on August 22nd.  Caleb Baker is expected to make his first court appearance next week on the charges of First Degree Robbery and Armed Criminal Action.
