JOPLIN, MO.--- Art is the eye of the beholder. These kids are something to behold. Jefferson Elementary students in Joplin are auctioning their art to the highest bidder, and each has a number in mind.

"How much would you like to get?"

"$10!"  states Ben Hedrick, 7 years old.

"Ummm $100 bucks," states Caden Bay, 7 years old.

"A million. Why? Because that'd be a lot of money," says Brayden Anderson, 7 years old.

and Hunter Shull has the exact number in mind.

"$135, because it's a really good effort," states Hunter Shull, 6 years old.

The money raised will go to help the homeless at Water Gardens in Joplin.

"It's really nice to help," states Hendrick..

"Helping people is helpful in case their homeless," states Caden Bay.

The kids had a theme with their art. They drew jobs they'd like to have when they grow up. Brayden Anderson wants to work at Home Depot.

"At Home Depot it has lots of stuff you need," states Anderson.

Monica Bay is their teacher, and she says the kids are learning a valuable lesson.

"They learn that it doesn't take a whole lot to put forth a little effort to give back and there are people in out community that need our help," states Monica Bay, First Grade Teacher.
