JOPLIN, MO.--- You often learn about social studies and science in class, but school spirit is a new topic. These kids now have so much spirit, you'll be able to hear them loud and clear at Friday's football game. Kelsey Norman Elementary school held a football day. Joplin High School football players were on hand to teach the kids the in's and out's of the game. The goal is to encourage school spirit within each child. The players say loud fans with plenty of school spirit helps them win games.

"They need spirit to help them in the games, or no one will show up and help them to win the games," states Holden Ledford, 5th Grade Student.

You can show your own school spirit tomorrow at the Joplin homecoming football game. The eagles are taking on Lebanon at Junge Field. The games starts at 7pm.
