PARSONS, KS.--- The City of Parsons is looking into getting a multi-million dollar bond for street repairs.The city's manager proposed the idea at a commission work session earlier this week. The bond would be anywhere between two to three million dollars. It would pay for about 10 residential streets and other roadways to be resurfaced or completely reconstructed.The bond would be repaid using motor fuel taxes which the city get back from the state when tax money is received. City officials will present more information on the bond at future commission meetings.
