PARSONS, KS.--- The community organization "Downtown Parsons Incorporated" held their 4th annual ladies luncheon. This year's theme was "Pretty in Pink" to raise breast cancer awareness in the community. The fundraiser included lunch, a silent auction and drawings. Some of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.

"They help them with education, maybe their mortgage payment, electric payment ,and they're also there for emotional support for those women," states Sandra Stephens, Downtown Parsons INC. Director.

More than $6,000 were raised at the luncheon.
