JOPLIN, MO.---  Krista Beck is green with envy these days. She owns a frame shop in Joplin called  "If These Walls Could Talk," and the walls were definitely saying she's a fan of the lions.

"I am seeing green. I wish I was seeing it a lot more of it in town, hopefully next year there will be a lot more businesses that hop on the bandwagon," states Beck.

The goal was to show southern pride by decorating your business, and she came out on top by putting famous alumni on her door, and she had framed band uniforms from the 1950's, and even her plants were covered with lions.

"I even did a strand of green in my hair. Go lions," says Beck.

The best is when she colored her dog, Jack, green.

"Food coloring. No animals were hurt in the making of it," says Beck.

Who knew that coloring a dog could improve his attitude.

"He's behaved the best since I turned him green. I may just keep him that color. He seems to be doing well with it," states Beck.

A panel at MSSU picked her as the winner and they say her's stood out.

"She had framed pictures of past presidents, athletics had the name of the first graduate and most recent graduate. To go into that kind of research and to spend that much time working she was clearly the winner,"  states Cassie Mathes, MSSU Marketing.

"Go lions! "
