MSSU Outstanding Alumni Awards

JOPLIN -- Faculty at Missouri Southern State University named the recipients of the 2012 Outstanding Alumni award Saturday. Mike Moore, Bryan Vowels and KSN's Carol Parker were all presented the award at a special ceremony. Normally there is only one alumni honored per year, but in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the university, there were three chosen this year. Administrators say the honorees are selected by their contributions to society while they were students and since graduation. The outstanding alumni each received a plaque and had their own entry in Saturday's homecoming parade at MSSU.
