JOPLIN, MO.---    If you've driven down Rangeline in the last few days, you're bound to have seen the dancing frog. Chris Wilson aka Kermit, works for Spirit Halloween in Joplin, and his goal is to get peoeple in the store. One flipper at a time.

"They seem to like it and pull in. People takes pictures with me and they like it," states Chris Wilson, Kermit the Forg.

For Chris it's easy being green.

"It is very easy being green. I'm a Boston Celtics fan, so I love green," states Wilson.

And this frog has dated a few pigs over the years.

"A few pigs I've dated. They're not very nice. They're all about themselves really," says Wilson.

Chris stays out here about 4 hours a day and thousands of cars pass him and they all watch as the frog does his best Michael Jackson.

"As long as they come in the store. I like to see the smile on their faces. I think going in front of crowds, in front of anything," states Wilson.

However, not every driver is in a good mood. He's gotten a few hand gestures but one guy had it worse.

"one guy had a burrito thrown at him, " states Wilson.

But he has one goal and that's to get them in the store.

"As long as they see you and the store in the general direction. You can do some head movements to come over here," says Wilson.

Once they get in the store there are several costumes that hot. For boys it's the avengers, for girls it's monster high, however no one is buying the Romney or Obama masks. So who could replace the dancing kermit at the end of his shift? Well, Captain America of course.

"Make a fool of myself. Make someone laugh. Some people dont' like it but some do and I enjoy it," says Wilson.
