SENECA, MO.--- City council members voted unanimously Monday to set up a 500 dollar reward fund leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever vandalized Mayor Mark Bennet's home. A fund is set up at People's Bank of Seneca under the name "Reward Fund for Mark Bennet." The public can also contribute to the fund. The Seneca Chief of Police says the vandalism raised a "serious public outcry." He has received numerous phone calls with tips for an arrest.
You can make a donation to the reward fund at a People's Bank of Seneca branch. The bank is located at 1615 Cherokee Avenue in Seneca. If you have any tips about the vandalism, you are asked to call the Seneca Police Department at 417-776-8158.
