Ottawa County Man on Probation Faces Several New Charges

NORTH MIAMI, OK--- Yesterday evening, Miami Police Department Narcotics Investigator Todd Hicks and Ottawa County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Investigator Rocky Ferdig arrested a suspect at 623 Nebraska St. in North Miami, OK on anticipated charges of Manufacturing Meth.

Investigators went to the residence of Jackie Milford, 40, on information that Milford had an active Meth Lab. Milford is currently on probation for 10 years for convictions out of Ottawa County on charges including: Embezzlement of Rental Property, and Domestic Assault and Battery by Choking. Milford also had active warrants for probation violations on those cases.

The authorties approached the residence, ordered Milford to the front door, and placed him under arrests for his outstanding warrants. Milford's home was subject to search per rules and conditions of probation. Officers found an active meth lab, along with an amount meth, and several items used to make meth.

Jackie Milford was transported to Ottawa County Jail, in addition to his probation violation warrants, he recieved additional meth charges.
