Guard Employee to Stand Trial in Dec.

A former Missouri National Guard employee charged with stealing will stand trial in December. 50-year-old Karen Moore of Pittsburg, Kansas plead guilty in August to felony stealing from the Show-Me Challenge Cadet Program. Moore was charged in June 2000 after more the $13,000 was discovered missing from the program. Moore formerly worked at the Camp Clark Program in Nevada. Her case is being heard in Lamar on a change of venue from Vernon County.
