Joplin Man Sentenced to Probation for Gambling

JOPLIN, MO.--- Today a judge sentenced William Lisle, 52, to 2 years probation, including 6 months of home detention. He'll also has to pay a $2,000 fine and must turn over nearly $100,000 he made gambling. During his probation, Lisle can't engage in any kind of gambling. Lisle plead guilty to using the internet to place bets on sporting events from January 2003 to February 2011. A second man received the same sentence for the crime.
