PEO Fundraiser

JOPLIN -- The Philanthropic Educational Organization, or P.E.O., had their annual "Chocolate Festival" in Joplin Saturday. Tables of cakes and chocolate treats lined the floors of the First United Methodist Church. The group uses fundraisers like this to provide loans and grants to help women continue their education. Most of the proceeds from the fundraiser help womn's programs at Cottey College.
