Funeral Arrangements for Fatal Plane Crash Victim

JOPLIN, MO.--- Services for Deryl Edwards Jr., 41, will be held at 2:00pm this Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church at 6th and Pearl. The family has requested that donations made to the First Presbyterian Church.

Authorities say Edwards' Cessna 310 Twin Engine Plane went down just before 6 last Sunday evening three miles north of 1-44 on Highway F. Two men were on board, both were killed in the accident. The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are leading the inquiry into the crash.

The second victim Richard Armstrong Junior, 50, of Neosho was the flight instructor accompanying Deryl Edwards Junior. His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 10 a.m. The service will be held at Neosho Calvary Baptist Church under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
