JASPER COUNTY, MO.--- Jasper County's Sheriff elect, Randy Kaiser beat his opponent John Karriman by more than 35,000 votes. Kaiser says he plans to spend his first 2 months in office determining what needs to be changed, if anything. One of his priorities is to finalize the jail remodeling project. He hopes to see work completed during the first few months he's in office.
"I'm going into it with an open mind. I'm going to determine what the strengths are and where the needs are and determine what needs to be done after I've had time to evaluate the situation," states Randy Kaiser, Elected Jasper County Sheriff.
Kaiser has worked for the Carthage Police Department for 17 years and will be sworn in as sheriff in January.
