JOPLIN, MO.--- The annual Christmas for Kids program is back for the 27th year. It's a drive started by Joplin firefighters to collect toys for kids, then distribute them to children whose families meet a certain level of need. They are collecting toys and monetary donations for infants all the way up to kids 15 years old. Mid-American Title Loans is the key sponsor of this program and donated a $15,000 check to help kick things off.

"We just want the smiles to be there for the kids. We get to see them whenever they get these presents and it is such a big thrill to the children. They come up to show us what they got and it's just very heartfelt, we want to help all of the kids," states Shannon Branham, Firefighters Christmas for Kids.

Families in need can fill out applications at Mid American Title Loans, the deadline is December 7th.
