NEOSHO, MO.--- The Neosho High School Junior ROTC group held a ceremony to honor past and present soldiers who serve the U.S. Veterans enjoyed a hot breakfast while the Neosho High School Jazz Band and Choir performed. Service men and women were then formally saluted and recognized according to the branch they served in.

"We encouraged our students to make that connection by personally inviting a veteran in their life, be it their parent, a family member, bus driver, or just whomever they may know," states Major Bryce Langley, Aerospace Sci. Instructor.

Newly elected Newton County Commissioner, Jim Jackson was the featured speaker. This is the 10th year for this breakfast at Neosho High School, around 100 people were in attendance.
