REDINGS MILL, MO.--- The Redings Mill Fire District is holding a Fire Wise Clean Up Day tomorrow. The goal of the program is to remove brush and limbs which could create a dangerous situation if a fire breaks out. Organizers say taking these precautions now could save homes, and even lives, during fire season.

"We've had several years of ice storms, windstorms, and with the tornado we've got a lot of fuel on the ground with trees and limbs, so with the drought this summer it created a problem," states Michael White, Assistant Chief Redings Mill Fire District.

You can drop the debris off at fire station 1 located at 344 Redings Mill Road. Drop off is from 9 a.m. Until 3 p.m. Tree limbs can be no larger than 3 inches.
