Charles Magee Trial Continues

Updated: January 7, 2009
The second trial for a Grove Oklahoma man continues today. 23-year old Charles Magee is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of 27-year old Michael Jeffers. Magee admits to stabbing Jeffers but says that it was in self defense. In testimony on Tuesday, a local medical examiner, said that his estimates of the time of death of Jeffers could have been off. The body was found in a cabin near Grand Lake in 1999. In January of this year a jury could not reach a verdict on the second-degree murder charge and the trial ended in a mistrial.
