Joplin Fatal Two Vehicle Car Accident

JOPLIN, MO--- Constance Allard, 65, of Nevada, MO died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash that occured Saturday at 1:30pm on 32nd and Stephens Blvd.

Allard, a passenger of a Nissan Rogue going westbound on east 32nd St, while the other vehicle, a Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on 32nd St. The truck was attempting to turn north onto Stephens Blvd and turned in front of the car and they collided.

Allard had serious injuries to her wrist and was transported to the hospital by EMS. The driver of the pickup truck, Joshua Balcom, of Joplin complained of minor injuries. The driver of the car, Michael Marn of Webb City, reported no injuries. Neither of the drivers of the vehicles were transported to the hospital. The Joplin Police Department was later notified by hospital personnel that the passenger of the car, Allard, had some internal injuries from the crash.

Constance Allard died as a result of her injuries from the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by the Joplin Police Department.
