Missouri Arts Council Writing Grant Workshop

JOPLIN, MO.--- 2 representatives from the Missouri Arts Council, or MAC, led a grant writing workshop at the Spiva Center for the Arts today. MAC leaders also provided insider tips on how applications are evaluated and what organizations can do to increase their chances of getting federal funds.
"It truly helps them to understand the grant writing process, it also helps them to understand what programs are available to be funded," states Jill Williams, MAC Program, Specialist.
MAC leaders say their workshops so far have been very well attended, with many nonprofit organizations face budget constraints.
