PARSONS, KS--

The Curious Minds Discovery Zone Children's Museum recently opened in downtown Parsons.

Board members say they wanted to create an environment where kids could have fun learning about our world.

Those who helped design the children's museum say not only does it help kids learn... It may also teach parents a thing or two.

"These sorts of hands on chilren's museums are being built because children respond and learn things better when they're enjoying them selves, and you can have fun too, probably. there's things here that you might discover yourself," says Shawn Encarnacion from Curious Minds.

For more information including hours of operation and scheduling birthday parties.... call the Curious Minds Discovery Zone Children's Museum in Parsons at 620-778-2657.
