Die Hard Fans Stand In Line For the Final Twilight Movie

JOPLIN, MO--

Breaking Dawn Part 2 opened in theatres Thursday night.

It's the final chapter in the Twilight series, a love story about a human, vampires and werewolves.

Hollywood Northstar 14 showed the film in 10 theatres and all shows were sold out.

About 2,500 people filled the parking lot waiting to enjoy the movie.

Fans started lining up around 6:30 this morning, anxious to see see their favorite characters on the big screen one last time.

"It's kind of funny to see people out here with blankets," says Celeste Thornton, Twilight fan.

"I'm really excited, I got to skip school today because it's part of celebrating my birthday," says Mikel Styve, Twilight fan.

"It's always worth it, have you seen Edward?" says Faith Law, Edward fan.

Fans who couldn't make it to Thursday night's show are already buying tickets for Friday and Saturday.
