JOPLIN -- Volunteers dusted off old Christmas lights and raised the roof Saturday all to get ready for this year's Dickens Fest. Thousands are expected to line up along Moffett Street, between their and fourth streets. The festival will be held December 7-9 this year. Organizers say it gets bigger every year. People are asked to bring new toys and coats to be donated to children from the area.
